A new version of the Trelleborg Sealing Solutions website has launched and its users are sure to enjoy its redesigned layout and expanded features. Aside from its more mobile friendly layout, many areas of the website have been enhanced.

The Tools & Resources area (formerly the Service Center) focuses on detailed information on engineering tools,applications and services. It allows our customers to experience a complete portfolio of e-Learning modules for their every need at any time, 24/7. Topics include Rubber Materials, O-Rings, Hydraulic Seals, Rotary Seals and Installation Instructions covering various types of products.

In addition, the expanded Technical Library houses whitepapers, webinars and technical articles for easy access.

ENHANCEMENT OF INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS APP

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions has launched the newly enhanced Installation Instructions app.
Our user-friendly interface allows you to easily learn the correct techniques of installing various seals, common mistakes encountered and best practices during installation, including the proper use of installation tools.

The app covers the proper installation of PTFE and polyurethane seals for rod and piston and Radial Oil Seals. It includes details for both single- and double-acting seals,with and without pre-tensioning elements. Additionally, it describes how to undertake visual inspection of seals, bore and shaft, including surface finishes.

To enhance the scope of the app, we’ve added easy-tofollow clips on the correct installation of type DO and DF Mechanical Face Seals as well as accompanying assembly instructions and a troubleshooting guide in PDF format for these seals.

The app is free-of-charge, available for both iOS and Android tablets and smartphones and can be found by searching for “Trelleborg Installation Instructions” in the App Store or Google Play.

ROBOTICS AR APP

Alongside our Robotics Applications brochure, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is launching a new Augmented Reality app. Using it, engineers and customers can quickly access interactive content and additional information on sealing solutions for the robotics industry.

By scanning the AR icon within the brochure, the user can unlock videos, technical information and animations to give a better understanding of our products and their benefits. Some of the great features offered include:

• Ability to rotate products, zoom in and see the “cut” (cross section) for more details
• Product Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Robotics Film
• Product tests and animations
