Claus Barsøe, born in 1949, has been active within the Trelleborg Group for over 15 years. This visionary Dane was Managing Director for W.S. Shamban in Denmark from 1985 until 1992 and responsible for the European market as CEO until 1999. He was a key figure in the merger of Busak+Luyken with W.S. Shamban and since 1999 has managed the sales, R&D, logistics and marketing divisions of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions throughout Europe.

On October 1, 2003, Claus Barsøe was appointed President of the Trelleborg Sealing Solutions business area, which is a part of Trelleborg AB in Sweden. Trelleborg Sealing Solutions brings together the world-leading skills of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, Dowty Auto, Forsheda and Shamban to create one of the most dynamic global polymer seal operations, encompassing many of the world's leading seal brands.

Tim serves as the President of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Americas. He joined the W.S. Shamban company in 1986 as Manufacturing Manager of the Newbury Park, CA production facility. Prior to becoming the divisional president in 2003, Tim served in a variety of production, engineering, sales and marketing capacities. Tim is married, has three grown children, and enjoys building and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, boating, fishing, waterskiing and traveling.
