| Scrapers |
|
Scrapers are installed in the sealing configurations of cylinders to scrape dirt, foreign particles, chips or moisture from the piston rods as they retract into the system. This prevents contamination of the hydraulic medium that could damage wear rings, seals and other components.
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions offers a wide range of scrapers in metal, elastomer, Turcon® PTFE based material or Zurcon® polyurethane. These include the Turcon® Excluder®, which is the Trelleborg Sealing Solutions proprietary design of double-acting scraper.
Specially engineered for hydraulic cylinder applications, Turcon® and Zurcon® materials demonstrate excellent low-friction properties providing exceptional resistance to wear.
